Boris Pintev has been working as TV cameraman for more than 25 years. He has been member of its filming crew ever since bTV was established on the Bulgarian market.
From 2010 Bobi Pintev is combining his professional duties as on-the-ground cameraman/videographer for the news, current affairs and sports programs, working on documentaries, reality series and various special filming projects at bTV with a teaching position at New Bulgarian University, where he is an associate professor with The Department of Cinema, Advertising and Show Business.
Most recently, in the spring of 2024, he acquired his PhD after successfully defending his doctoral thesis on “Creative and technological challenges and responsibilities of the cameraman in the television crew".
Bobi Pintev has been leading cameraman of numerous documentaries. He has been awarded with various Bulgarian and international awards for professional excellence.
His colleagues at bTV Media group have awarded him with “Cameraman of the Year” annual prize three times - in 2011, 2016 and 2019.
Boris Pintev was involved in the production of “Survivor” reality program in Bulgaria as well as the creation of bTV Podcast Studio.
